This season’s fashion month comes with added excitement given that all eyes are on London for the city’s first-ever Vogue World. As actors, models, and designers descended on the famed Theatre Royal Drury Lane to celebrate art and fashion, it is no surprise that Arab talent also made its mark on the red carpet. For the opening night, Canadian model Winnie Harlow brought the drama by wearing a stunning couture gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
Picked from the celebrity-loved creative’s Fall/Winter 2023 couture collection, the black velvet gown came with a plunging neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette. Its highlight, however, was a voluminous white cape-like collar that flowed along the sides of the dress and down to the floor. If the head-turning number looks familiar, it is because Moroccan model Aouatif Saadi is seen dressed in the very same piece for one of Vogue Arabia’s September 2023 covers shot in Disneyland Paris. Being featured on the cover of a regional magazine in the same month as getting worn for a global event is one of the many proofs of how Middle Eastern talent transcends boundaries.

For last night’s star-studded affair, Harlow opted to pair the romantic gown with black opera gloves topped with sparkling diamond jewelry, alongside debuting a fresh chop. “Winnie’s hair was inspired by the 90s black woman,” her longtime hairstylist Jordan Jay Brumant shared exclusively with Vogue. “It was important to us that her natural hair texture was at the forefront of the look. The strong tapered shape and waved edges gave us the perfect balance of strength, softness, and opulence.” A golden-bronze smokey eye with winged liner and glossy brown lips completed her makeup look for the evening.

Last night, Vogue celebrated its second annual Vogue World event in London. While last year, the celebration of the publication’s 130th anniversary commandeered West 13th Street in New York City for a live runway show, this year’s fashion extravaganza took over London’s famed Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a celebration of British theater and fashion.
Inspired by opening night on the West End, editors Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful kicked off London Fashion Week with the help of BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry, who engineered the event. Guests experienced a host of performances from leaders across the entertainment world, culminating with a live runway show with models wearing highlights from the fall 2023 collections. Proceeds from the grand performance will go to various London-based performing arts organizations, including the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, the Royal Ballet, Southbank Sinfonia, and Rambert.
The ode to Britain’s rich culture featured an impressive roster of guests, including many of today’s biggest models—Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Adwoa Aboah, Ashley Graham, and Paloma Elsesser among them—and a litany of stars from the worlds of theater, music, and film. Sophie Okonedo, Stormzy, Sienna Miller, Damien Lewis, James McAvoy, and FKA twigs all delivered stellar onstage performances.
With this star-studded guest list, an equally momentous red carpet had to be expected. Follow along to see the best red carpet looks from all of the Vogue World London attendees.

Kate Winslet at Vogue World: London
The worlds of fashion and the arts collided last night in London’s West End, where Theatre Royal Drury Lane became the rose-bedecked scene of Vogue World: London, a visual spectacular celebrating the very best of British talent. Kicking off London Fashion Week, the show – creatively overseen by the BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry and masterminded by an international Vogue team – included specially choreographed pieces by the Royal Ballet and Rambert, and superstar cameos from the likes of Stormzy, FKA Twigs and Kate Moss. Speaking of supermodels, Adwoa Aboah and Cara Delevingne were among the familiar faces showcasing the highlights from the autumn/winter 2023 collections on stage as part of the show.
As for the audience? Every bit as stellar as the cast, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Foy among those taking their seats at Theatre Royal Drury Lane tonight. Scroll to see all of the arrivals at Vogue World: London.

Gigi Hadid to Sharon Stone: The Best Dressed Celebrities at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Gigi Hadid to Sharon Stone: The Best Dressed Celebrities at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

There is nothing like the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar party, which brings out all the nominees and winners (once the Academy Awards are over), and everyone from the world of TV, politics, news, fashion, and more. If there’s any party where you’re all but guaranteed to see the cast of The White Lotus and Bridgerton mingling with Serena Williams and Monica Lewinsky, this is it.
The Vanity Fair Oscar party is also a chance for the stars to take big fashion risks as opposed to the Oscars red carpet, which typically is a bit more conservative. Think of it as a precursor to Vogue‘s Met Gala in May, and you understand why everyone can’t wait to see who’s wearing what and who’s arriving with whom.
It’s also a chance to debut new hairstyles, makeup looks, and more. And since the Vanity Fair red carpet starts in the afternoon and goes late into the evening (we’re talking midnight and beyond), we’ll be updating all the looks well into the wee hours of the morning.

Rym Saidi, Winnie Harlow, Lindsay Lohan, and More: All The Celebrities At Fashion Week

Rym Saidi, Winnie Harlow, Lindsay Lohan, and More: All The Celebrities At Fashion Week

Photo: Instagram.com
Fashion month is upon us, which means a first glimpse at next season, designer debuts, surprise runway cameos and countless celebrity sightings. In New York, we’ve already seen Lindsay Lohan do extreme colour blocking at Christian Siriano’s show (the redhead paired a burnt orange dress with make-up to match), Chloë Sevigny pop up on the Proenza Schouler catwalk (as BFF Natasha Lyonne looked on from the front row), and Alexa Chung captivating the street-style photographers all over Manhattan. The evening before the official start of London Fashion Week saw Erin O’Connor, British Vogue’s contributing editor Munroe Bergdorf and Jodie Turner-Smith seated front row at Harris Reed’s show, held in the Tate Modern, while Florence Pugh did a reading before models walked out. As the weekend got underway, mother-daughter duo Vanessa Redgrave and Joely Richardson sat front row at Roksanda, and Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan were seen together at JW Anderson.
Daniel Lee’s Burberry debut, and Moncler’s Art of the Genius presentation brought things to a suitably starry close in London, with Jodie Comer and Stormzy on the front row at Burberry, and newly-installed artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear Pharrell at Moncler.
Day one of the shows in Milan brought sightings of Gwendoline Christie, Julia Fox, Winnie Harlow and Christina Ricci.
