Watch The Vogue World 2023: London Replay In Full

On September 14, Vogue brought its very own fashion fantasia to the West End – and now, everyone can tune in to watch the pages of the magazine come dramatically to life at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Masterminded by BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry, show director Emily Burns and creative producer Fran Miller alongside the Vogue team, the evening ran the gamut of the performing arts – opera and ballet and theatre, oh my – with turns from a galaxy of stars ranging from Kate Moss to Sophie Okonedo, Ian McKellen to Stormzy.
Held at the beginning of London Fashion Week, the event was a celebration of the ever evolving, gloriously diverse arts scene in London, but also, a tribute to the capital’s fashion prowess. Contributing looks for the performers and guests? 16Arlington, Ahluwalia, Burberry, Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY, Erdem, Maison Margiela and SS Daley, among dozens of other design luminaries.
Tickets, of course, were sold out, with 100 per cent of net ticket proceeds going to support performing arts organizations, including the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, South Bank Sinfonia, and the Rambert dance company, but for those who were not able to make it on the night, Vogue World: London was livestreamed around the world. Followers could head to www.vogue.world to watch the main performance, then shop all of the looks from the night after the final bow.

Vogue World: London is presented by Genesis, eBay and Coach and supported by Moncler and Don Julio 1942. Contributing support is provided by Estée Lauder. All net ticket proceeds will benefit performing arts organizations across London.

This season’s fashion month comes with added excitement given that all eyes are on London for the city’s first-ever Vogue World. As actors, models, and designers descended on the famed Theatre Royal Drury Lane to celebrate art and fashion, it is no surprise that Arab talent also made its mark on the red carpet. For the opening night, Canadian model Winnie Harlow brought the drama by wearing a stunning couture gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
Picked from the celebrity-loved creative’s Fall/Winter 2023 couture collection, the black velvet gown came with a plunging neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette. Its highlight, however, was a voluminous white cape-like collar that flowed along the sides of the dress and down to the floor. If the head-turning number looks familiar, it is because Moroccan model Aouatif Saadi is seen dressed in the very same piece for one of Vogue Arabia’s September 2023 covers shot in Disneyland Paris. Being featured on the cover of a regional magazine in the same month as getting worn for a global event is one of the many proofs of how Middle Eastern talent transcends boundaries.

For last night’s star-studded affair, Harlow opted to pair the romantic gown with black opera gloves topped with sparkling diamond jewelry, alongside debuting a fresh chop. “Winnie’s hair was inspired by the 90s black woman,” her longtime hairstylist Jordan Jay Brumant shared exclusively with Vogue. “It was important to us that her natural hair texture was at the forefront of the look. The strong tapered shape and waved edges gave us the perfect balance of strength, softness, and opulence.” A golden-bronze smokey eye with winged liner and glossy brown lips completed her makeup look for the evening.

Last night, Vogue celebrated its second annual Vogue World event in London. While last year, the celebration of the publication’s 130th anniversary commandeered West 13th Street in New York City for a live runway show, this year’s fashion extravaganza took over London’s famed Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a celebration of British theater and fashion.
Inspired by opening night on the West End, editors Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful kicked off London Fashion Week with the help of BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry, who engineered the event. Guests experienced a host of performances from leaders across the entertainment world, culminating with a live runway show with models wearing highlights from the fall 2023 collections. Proceeds from the grand performance will go to various London-based performing arts organizations, including the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, the Royal Ballet, Southbank Sinfonia, and Rambert.
The ode to Britain’s rich culture featured an impressive roster of guests, including many of today’s biggest models—Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Adwoa Aboah, Ashley Graham, and Paloma Elsesser among them—and a litany of stars from the worlds of theater, music, and film. Sophie Okonedo, Stormzy, Sienna Miller, Damien Lewis, James McAvoy, and FKA twigs all delivered stellar onstage performances.
With this star-studded guest list, an equally momentous red carpet had to be expected. Follow along to see the best red carpet looks from all of the Vogue World London attendees.

The worlds of fashion and the arts collided last night in London’s West End, where Theatre Royal Drury Lane became the rose-bedecked scene of Vogue World: London, a visual spectacular celebrating the very best of British talent. Kicking off London Fashion Week, the show – creatively overseen by the BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry and masterminded by an international Vogue team – included specially choreographed pieces by the Royal Ballet and Rambert, and superstar cameos from the likes of Stormzy, FKA Twigs and Kate Moss. Speaking of supermodels, Adwoa Aboah and Cara Delevingne were among the familiar faces showcasing the highlights from the autumn/winter 2023 collections on stage as part of the show.
As for the audience? Every bit as stellar as the cast, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Foy among those taking their seats at Theatre Royal Drury Lane tonight. Scroll to see all of the arrivals at Vogue World: London.

As we commence the final countdown to Vogue World: London—meet you here for the livestream tomorrow at 3:00p.m. EST—designers, actors, singers, and more from the United Kingdom and beyond are preparing to have the night of their lives at the West End’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Among them is 28-year-old Bridgerton and Sex Education star Simone Ashley. When we find her in North London, the actor is picking up coffee and a cardamom bun to enjoy while she strolls along Regent’s Canal, waxing poetic about her dog, Myla. From there, it’s off to a fitting at Stella McCartney’s tony flagship on Old Bond Street. Aided by manager Claire Mertens, Ashley eyes a rack crowded with appealing possibilities—both frocks and separates—and decides to try a bunch on for size.

The first look is a fetching double-breasted dress—almost like a deconstructed trench coat—which Ashley styles with kicky heeled boots. “I think it’s just a proper London girl kind of look,” she remarks approvingly. “It’s cute but understated. It’s not too showy.” As someone who got her start as a model (and from the way that she wears clothes, you can tell!), she has had to adapt to dressing for a front row. “If you’re attending a show and you’re not walking, you wanna look cool, effortless,” she notes. “You’re going to an event—and I guess for Vogue World, it’s going to be a big one, so maybe a bit extra effort than usual?” When she isn’t wearing a major designer like Stella, Ashley likes to work with smaller, up-and-coming labels like Marco Capaldo’s 16Arlington or Conner Ives. “When I get to wear a look and wear someone’s work, it’s such an honor,” she says. “I’m so grateful that my work allows me to do stuff like that.”
Then, Ashley meets her friend Roxy for lunch at Darjeeling Express, chef Asma Khan’s cozy Indian restaurant in Kingly Court. As they sample Khan’s delicious offerings, Ashley fondly remembers her own mother’s cooking—the pea fried rice, the chicken curry, the appalam on the side—and how tidy she was in the kitchen. But here, it’s not long before Ashley’s rings come off, and she starts going after the spread with her hands. She needs her strength for Thursday night, after all.
