Priyanka Chopra sees Jennifer Lawrence and Hailey Bieber’s socks and sandals and raises them some peep-toed thigh-high boots.
On July 15, Chopra attended the Wimbledon Women’s Final with her husband Nick Jonas wearing a green and black midi dress, skinny sunglasses, and a pair of black thigh-high sock boots with her toes poking out. Much like pairing closed-off socks with sandals that are inherently designed to show toe, these shoes appear to go against their own full-coverage design by granting onlookers a peek at Chopra’s fresh pedicure. Not sure if you love them or hate them? That’s fashion, baby!

Chopra pulled the daring ensemble together with some simple gold hoops, a half-up-half-down hairstyle, a taupe smokey eye, and mauve lips. While Chopra’s overall look was giving futuristic garden party, Jonas went the more classic route in a dapper tan suit, tie, and tortoiseshell glasses combo. “Beautiful day out at the tennis with my ❤️,” the Jonas Brother bandmember captioned an Instagram post from the day. “Such an honor to sit in the Royal box and watch @marketavondrousova win her first grand slam.”

Following their outing, Priyanka Chopra shared a hilarious clip of her husband helping her undo her heavily secured hairstyle in the back of a car—and it took a little bit of time. “Ponytails are complicated,” she captioned the clip.

Of course, the video only adds to the impractical nature of Priyanka Chopra’s Wimbledon ensemble. But hey, when you score an invite to watch from the Royal box, a little extra effort is par for the course.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have announced their first fashion industry investment with the luxury and activewear brand, Perfect Moment.
The sportswear brand that was founded in 1979 by French racer turned filmmaker, Theirry Donard, was first created exclusively for extreme racers and then eventually turned itself into a fashion brand with womenswear at its core. The brand will see the couple play an integral role in the brand as it branches out to other parts of the world such as the Middle East and Asia while steadily growing in regions such as the UK and America. As part of the venture, the two shared a photoshoot of them modeling the brand, and wrote, “This is a special day for us!! We’re proud to join the Perfect Moment family as strategic investors and advisors”.

Although the investment was recent, Chopra and Jonas have been loyal customers of the brand. “Not having to choose between looking amazing and performing at their highest level is a consumer need that Perfect Moment not only understands, but one that is baked into the ethos of this brand. I am proud to be a strategic investor and advisor to such a bold and trendsetting company. We’re looking forward to a bright future,” shared the 39-year-old in a statement. Jane Gottschalk, creative director of Perfect Moment said, “I can’t think of a more fun, diverse, business savvy couple to help us grow the brand to the next level. The Indian star has also made other business moves which include an investment in the dating app Bumble, followed by another in a start-up, Holberton School for software engineering. The most recent one is Sona Home, a homeware collection that was launched by the actor last month with the intention to introduce Indian heritage and culture into American spaces.
