Ana de Armas Paired Her Black Outfit With Colorful Gems at Louis Vuitton’s High Jewelry Collection Launch in Greece

As Louis Vuitton turned back the clock to explore the beginning of the earth with its latest high jewelry collection Deep Time, one of the guests, Ana De Armas made an alluring statement in all black.
Standing out from the crowd certainly seemed like a difficult feat, considering black was the color of the evening. Yet, Armas made sure all eyes were on her at the elegant dinner hosted by Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of watches and jewelry, Francesca Amfitheatrof, in Greece. Embodying her trademark sensual sophistication, the 35-year-old opted for a bustier paired with a skirt and blazer, all from Louis Vuitton.

However, the star of this ensemble was certainly the jewelry. On Armas’s neck, a yellow gold and platinum necklace glittered with pigeon blood rubies and emeralds, complemented by a matching bracelet and earrings. A white gold ring on her hand adorned with an emerald and diamonds added the perfect final touch.
Louis Vuitton’s Deep Time collection is dominated by similarly opulent pieces, exuding a sense of old-world glamour. Composed of 180 pieces, Deep Time is a brilliant exercise in storytelling, with necklaces that mimic the movements of tectonic plates, and fiery gems formed in lava that represent the volcanic eruptions from the beginning of time. The stones, in fact, took center stage at the presentation with standouts including a flawless 40-carat sapphire from Sri Lanka formed in water, and Mexican opals from a mine that closed 150 years ago.
