Kim Kardashian to Meghan Markle: All the Celebrities Who Wore Silver for Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour

Kim Kardashian to Meghan Markle: All the Celebrities Who Wore Silver for Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour is the gift that keeps on giving. From endless custom looks worn by the Queen herself to accessible tour merchandise, Beyoncé has made the summer of 2023 unforgettable, and she’s not done yet. This time, she got a little help from her fellow stars.
With the tour finally making its way to Los Angeles after covering the east coast, plenty of celebrities gathered from near and far (as far as South Korea) to see Beyoncé. While seeing all the celebrities together at the show was a spectacle in itself (especially since the concert even prompted one couple in particular — Kendall Jenner and Timothée Chalamet — to make their first public appearance), the outfits alone deserve a moment. The stars dressed up as if they were walking a red carpet.
For Virgo season, the singer, who celebrated her birthday on September 4, said her wish is for concert-goers to dress up in their most fabulous shimmering silver looks. In an Instagram story, she wrote, “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of chrome.”
Like at the Met Gala, some followed the theme, and others took their liberties with it. Regardless, we know you want to see them all. So we’ve compiled all the celebrity looks we saw at Beyoncé’s tour. Scroll on to see all the outfits and maybe get some inspiration for your stop.

Natalia Bryant sported Beyoncé’s Ivy Park and went for subtle silver as well with a metallic mani. Her family went full shimmery looks, giving the Bryants the perfect balance.

Grown-Ish co-stars Francia Raisa and Yara Shahidi were also in attendance. Raisa opted for a leather little black dress with a silver necklace and even metallic lipstick. Shahidi wore a metallic corset top and pants.

Zendaya glittered in a silver summer suit set (right on trend, of course). Quinta Brunson stunned a silver cut-out mini dress and boots. Ayo Edebiri dazzled in a sparkly cowl neck top with an open back. Tom channeled his Kenergy into an all-black look.

We expected no less from Beyoncé’s super fan Kalen Allen.

The Kardashians (plus a Disick, a West and a Jenner) all showed up silver outfits. Khloé Kardashian opted for shimmering pants and nails while Kim Kardashian went for a bandeau-style top completely made up of gems. Kris Jenner opted for a silver trench coat. Cousins Penelope Disick and North West matched in all-silver Diesel ‘fits.

Hailey Bieber tagged along with the Kardashians and wore an all-black matching top and skirt set. To fit the dress code, she wore a pair of statement silver earrings. We’ll take it!

Designer and former Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott attended alongside Kevin Moon of the K-pop group The Boyz. Both opted for more subdued looks with gray attire. At another stop on the tour, Kevin opted for a more sparkly look with metallic wide-leg pants.

Kerry Washington, Kelly Rowland and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, matched in all-black outfits and incorporated the theme with glittering accessories. Washington was covered in sparkles, including a silver handbag. Rowland wore a double chain necklace and added even more silver to her look with face gems. The Duchess kept it simple yet elegant with a silver belt.

Keke Palmer cleverly incorporated silver into both of her looks for the two concerts she attended. For the first, she added silver streaks to her hair which matched her silver eyeshadow and jewelry and contrasted her leather dress. Later, she wore a white button-up top and layered a reflective silver corset over it.

Katy Perry attended the show hitting all the trends. She wore a velvety silver off-the-shoulder dress with matching shield glasses and jewelry.

Vanessa Hudgens looked like a disco ball in a halter neck dress and matching jacket. As if that wasn’t enough glitter, she added in a hand fan for good measure.

To celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday, Diana Ross made a special appearance. She wore a sparkly floor length gown with a feather shawl and statement silver earrings.

It seems that Kim Kardashian has flown all the way to Tokyo in order to get her hands on the dazzling diamond and gemstone necklace from Chanel’s spring/summer 1995 collection, complete with interlocking Cs and tear-drop pearls, that features in Greta Gerwig’s record-breaking Barbie movie.
For those of us who have been following Kardashian’s growing jewelry collection, it comes as no surprise that she would want to acquire the statement piece so soon after the film came out. While all of fashion’s favorite It-girls collect vintage pieces nowadays, this savvy businesswoman (who memorably wore Marilyn Monroe’s glittering Jean Louis dress to the 2022 Met Gala) takes it to the next level, via an archive that would be fit for any museum.
Case in point: earlier this year, Kardashian was revealed to be the proud owner of Princess Diana’s Attallah Cross necklace, which the royal wore at a charity ball in London in 1984, after bidding $197,453 (around AED 725,253) for it at auction. “We are delighted that this piece has found a new lease of life within the hands of another globally famous name,” Kristian Spofforth, Sotheby’s London’s head of jewelry, said at the time.

Clearly drawn to important pieces in fashion history, Kardashian also bid $379,500 (around £300,000) for Jackie Kennedy’s Cartier Tank watch at a Christie’s auction in 2017. Engraved with “Stas to Jackie” on the back, the timepiece was gifted to the First Lady by her brother-in-law, Stanislaw “Stas” Radziwill. Kardashian later revealed that she wore the watch when she met former US president Donald Trump at the White House in 2019, telling Vogue: “It gave me some power: let’s get in there and get this done!”
Kardashian is also the proud owner of Jackie Kennedy’s Cartier Tank watch, which she paid $379,500 (around £300,000) for at auction. Photo: Bettmann

Kardashian’s penchant for auction hunting actually began more than a decade ago, when she spent $65,000 (£51,000) on three gold and jade bangles by Lorraine Schwartz, which previously belonged to her “idol” Elizabeth Taylor.
It seems that the love of collecting runs in the family, too, with Kardashian buying her daughter, North, a custom velvet jacket that was worn by Michael Jackson to Taylor’s 65th birthday (see the connections?) from Julien’s Auctions in 2019 for $65,625 (£52,000). She also bought a white fedora hat that Jackson wore in his “Smooth Criminal” music video for North, along with a pair of Elvis Presley’s rings for her brother Rob for $15,000 (£12,000) in 2020.
What will Kardashian acquire next? We’re betting on Carrie Bradshaw’s feathered bridal headpiece, which is going up for sale at Sotheby’s next month with a price tag of between $40,000 (£32,000) and $70,000 (£55,000).

Kim Kardashian Did Pretty-Princess and Goth Bride in Two Dolce & Gabbana Looks in One Day

Kim Kardashian Did Pretty-Princess and Goth Bride in Two Dolce & Gabbana Looks in One Day

Photo: Instagram.com/kimkardashian
Kim Kardashian isn’t new to making headlines for her front-row looks at fashion shows. Who can forget her squeaky yellow tape outfit at Balenciaga, the mother-daughter coordinated look with North West at Jean Paul Gaultier, or the time she showed up in head-to-toe latex at Balmain?
The entrepreneur also put her star power and style credentials to use on and off the runway when she walked for the Balenciaga couture show in July last year, before she was tapped as curator for Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2023 collection. While the latter and the consequent feud between the mother-of-four and her older sister Kourtney continues to be fodder for the latest season of The Kardashians, Kim made not one but two remarkable sartorial statements this week.
Photo: Instagram.com/kimkardashian
The first one saw her embrace an entirely new persona as she arrived at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda 2023 show in Puglia channeling her version of Sleeping Beauty. Foregoing her usually favored figure-hugging dresses and bodysuits, Kardashian stunned the crowd in a plum taffeta gown with an off-shoulder neckline and a floor-grazing train. To complement the ultra-feminine look, the Skims founder opted for a statement diamond necklace, and a voluminous half-up-half-down hairdo, which was a far cry from her signature sleek, middle-parted locks.
Photo: Instagram.com/krisjenner
Proving she can do pretty princess just as well as goth chic, Kardashian’s second outfit in Puglia saw her dressed in all-black. The reality TV star arrived at the after-party wearing a corset with gold detailing, a long satin skirt, mesh gloves, and to top it all off, a sheer black lace-trimmed veil. Peeking through it was a bold necklace with a large star-shaped gemstone pendant. Although the internet was quick to draw comparisons between this outfit and Kourtney Kardashian’s Portofino wedding look, it is only the sisters themselves who can clear the air around it all—perhaps in another season of The Kardashians.

Kim Kardashian Chose a Polarizing Bag for Pharrell’s First Louis Vuitton Show

Last evening, Pharrell Williams presented his first collection as the creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear during Paris Fashion Week, and the spring 2024 offering didn’t disappoint. Among the 74 looks, there were some great short suits, checkered bags, and dramatic chapeaus. Taking in the new styles from the front row were celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Jared Leto, and Zendaya—all dressed to impress. Who took the biggest fashion risk? Kardashian, for sure.
Photo: Getty
For the affair, Kardashian wore the new digitized camo print introduced in the spring 2024 collection. She paired an athletic-style bra top with leggings—she’s the queen of athleisure, after all—but it was her big, fuzzy camo fanny pack that truly stole the show. The accessory serves as a more fashion-forward take on the retro bag that all of the dads loved wearing in the ’80s. (It’s also a smart choice for the setting, given it’s completely hands-free. Perfect for capturing content during the show!). Completing the outfit were her sky-high PVC heels, because she’s just always gotta make the look glam—even when rocking a ginormous bum bag.

Kim Kardashian has linked her name to yet another iconic piece of fashion history. After wearing Marilyn Monroe’s dress to the 2022 Met Gala, the mogul has just bought the Attallah Cross belonging to Princess Diana for an eye-watering US $197,453 at Sotheby’s Royal and Noble sale. The cross is an amethyst pendant with floral design details and a total diamond weight of approximately 5.25 carats. It was sold to Kardashian at more than double its pre-auction estimate after being competed for by four bidders.

The unique piece of jewelry was created in the 1920s by court jewelers Garrard, and bought by Naim Attallah CBE, the former group chief executive of Asprey & Garrard, in the 1980s. A close friend of the late British royal, Attallah loaned the piece to the Princess of Wales on many occasions, including in October 1987, when she most famously wore it to a charity gala. Princess Diana had paired the pendant with a matching, purple Catherine Walker dress for the event supporting Birthright, a charity working towards the protection of human rights during pregnancy and childbirth.
According to Sotheby’s, it is said that the cross was only ever worn by the Princess, and following her death, it was never seen in public again until now. The royal also shared a special relationship with Garrard, who was the jeweler behind her engagement ring in 1981. Her last public appearance featured what is now known as the Swan Lake necklace, a diamond and South Sea pearl piece that Garrard made in collaboration with Princess Diana.

Inside the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Party 2022: Red Valentino Bows, Silver Versace Sequins and Sia Singing

Inside the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Party 2022: Red Valentino Bows, Silver Versace Sequins and Sia Singing

The Kardashian-Jenner family celebrated the holidays with their annual Christmas party, with matriarch Kris Jenner and all five of her daughters taking their own sartorial approach.

Kris attended the event wearing a long-sleeved, round neckline, tiered ruffle dress with a bow at the waist, playing on the idea of Christmas-red and gifting. The dress was vintage Valentino.

Kim Kardashian wore a sparkling floor-length silver asymmetric shoulder dress from Versace. She was joined by her children North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West.

North took a cue from her mother with the sparkling theme and wore a two-piece gray sequined ensemble. Chicago coordinated with a sequin peplum dress with tights and black boots. Saint wore a black ensemble with black and red sneakers, and Psalm wore a two-piece outfit, including a utility jacket and coordinated with his sisters in gray.

Khloé Kardashian wore a formfitting red dress with a low-cut neckline, a thigh-high slit and a small train custom designed by Nicolas Jebran. Khloé finished the look with open-toe stilettos with a chainlink ankle strap. She accessorized with a diamond necklace and diamond earrings. She also carried a Santa clutch bag from Judith Leiber Couture. Her daughter True Thompson matched her in a custom red dress by La Roxx.

Kourtney Kardashian Barker went for an ethereal dress, opting for a long-sleeved white cutout gown with a rose appliqué on the bodice, ruching and a sheer skirt.

Kendall Jenner coordinated with her sister Khloé and mother Kris, and also opted to wear red, selecting a red sequin column gown with a train and crisscross-strap red shoes.

Kylie Jenner stood out from the rest of her sisters, wearing a beige and black floral lace spaghetti strap dress. Her daughter Stormi Webster wore a matching ballgown to accompany her mother.

This year’s Kardashian-Jenner Christmas party was nothing short of extravagant. The scene for the event included large red Christmas trees, a red ball pit, a gingerbread house station and a man dressed as one of Santa’s elves. This year singer Sia also attended the event, dressed in an ethereal white dress like a snow angel, to sing alongside North West. Sia and North sang Sia’s song “Snowman” and her hit “Chandelier.”

Miu Miu Miniskirt, JW Anderson Pigeon Clutch and Birkenstock Boston Clogs Among Hottest Items in 2022, Says Lyst

Miu Miu Miniskirt, JW Anderson Pigeon Clutch and Birkenstock Boston Clogs Among Hottest Items in 2022, Says Lyst

Lyst, the fashion shopping platform that serves 200 million users worldwide, has released its annual year in fashion report. After analyzing data gathered from January to October, the platform concluded that 2022 was Miu Miu’s year.
Searches for the label, which was founded by Miuccia Prada in 1993 as a more personal subbrand to Prada, increased by 49 percent on Lyst year-on-year, and it was mostly driven by viral products such as its ballet flats, as well as the miniskirt, which was first introduced in the brand’s spring 2022 collection.

“The brand’s ballet flats quickly became its most popular product on Lyst following their release, having been worn by the likes of Sydney Sweeney, Bella Hadid and Rosalía. A simpler, Gen Z-friendly version of its 2016 counterpart, it plays into the balletcore and “indie-sleaze” trends that have been dominating the year. With the highly anticipated return of menswear for fall 2022 and a spring 2023 collection that generated more than 23 million views on TikTok, Miu Miu was the brand to watch on the runway,” the report said.

JW Anderson’s 3D-printed pigeon clutch, introduced in the men’s fall 2022 show, was named the weirdest and most wonderful moment of the year.

Lyst said the clutch is sold out across multiple retailers, and the $890 accessory now comes with a waiting list. It has become the brand’s most viewed product on Lyst, with searches increasing by 488 percent in the first week of October when Sarah Jessica Parker was seen carrying it during the filming of the second season of “And Just Like That,” the sequel to “Sex and the City.”

The other “It” bag of this year is Prada’s Re-nylon Re-edition 2000 mini bag. Lyst said over the summer that searches for the item increased 131 percent, and its popularity shot up on TikTok thanks to its Gen Z-friendly ‘90s aesthetic. The hashtag #pradanylonbag generated more than 4.2 million views.

In terms of footwear, Lyst said Birkenstock’s Boston clogs are the hottest shoe of the year, with searches increasing 593 percent in the first six months of 2022. This shoe model also had a high fashion moment this year as it launched a collaboration with Dior Men for the fall 2022 season.

Lyst also namechecked a handful of celebrities responsible for creating some of the most viral moments in 2022.

For example, Hadid, who was named the power dresser of the year by Lyst for triggering an average 1,900 percent increase in searches for similar pieces that she wore, was the model in the creation of the viral Coperni spray-on dress. Lyst said in the days following the show, Coperni saw a staggering 3,000 percent increase in searches, making it the most searched brand from fashion month.

Kim Kardashian’s Marilyn Monroe moment at the Met Gala led to a 456 percent spike in Bob Mackie searches, while Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana in “The Crown,” where she recreated the famous “revenge dress” scene at the opening of Serpentine Gallery’s summer party in 1994, caused a 58 percent increase in searches for black off-the-shoulder dresses, while demand for black dresses with a sweetheart neckline skyrocketed 103 percent on Lyst.

The filming of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, helped Barbiecore become the trend of 2022, Lyst said. Searches for all things pink on the platform rose 416 percent after pictures of a pink-clad Robbie surfaced in June.

“But the defining pink of the year came courtesy of Valentino. Just a week after the brand’s unique shade of hot pink was presented on its fall 2023 runway, searches increased 152 percent,” the report added.

Other items and events that caused spikes in searches on Lyst include the Diesel 1DR bag, the Jacquemus x Nike collaboration, the “Weird Girl” trend on TikTok, Yvon Chouinard transferring his ownership of Patagonia to the Patagonia Purpose Trust, as well as the black Prada lace dress Sydney Sweeney wore to receive The Rising Star award at Cannes in April.

Lyst counted Luar, Amesh and Mônot as brands to watch for 2023.

Katy Lubin, vice president of brand and communications at Lyst, said the annual report provides “an opportunity to reflect on the moments that shaped how we shopped.”

“With the recent Y2K fashion renaissance and TikTok’s ever-growing influence on the fashion industry, we’ve seen a new generation of Lyst shoppers rediscovering brands that defined the early ‘00s. Brand of the year Miu Miu and logo of the year Diesel succeeded in capturing the zeitgeist for Gen Z luxury shoppers.

“Major global celebrities continue to have a huge influence when it comes to setting trends alight. Bella, Kylie [Jenner] and Dua [Lipa] were amongst the top tastemakers this year who truly inspired shoppers to add to bag.…They’ve already reached global cult status across the fashion fan spectrum, and look set to be one of the hottest gifting items for the holiday season too,” Lubin said.

Kim Kardashian, arguably Balenciaga’s most high-profile brand ambassador, has issued a statement about her relationship with the fashion house after disturbing ads featuring children were published online.
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kardashian wrote in a statement published to her social accounts on Sunday, November 27.

As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society—period,” she wrote.
Last week, shoppers called out the Spanish fashion house for publishing photos of children holding teddy bears wearing leather harnesses and cuffs to its website. “Balenciaga using photos of little girls playing with teddy bears dressed in bondage gear on their website. Lovely,” wrote one user on Twitter. In another ad for Balenciaga’s collaboration with Adidas, documents pertaining to child pornography laws are clearly visible in the foreground. Observant users have since found even more references to the exploitation of children in campaigns published earlier this year.
Kardashian concluded her statement addressing her “future” with the fashion house. “I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with—[and] the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she wrote.

As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.
— Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian) November 28, 2022

In a statement posted to its Instagram Stories last week, Balenciaga condemned the “abuse of children in any form” and noted it planned to take legal action against the “parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our spring 23 campaign photoshoot.”

Kim Kardashian Opened Up About Kanye’s Fashion Influence and How She’s Moved on

Kim Kardashian Opened Up About Kanye’s Fashion Influence and How She’s Moved on

Photo: Getty
It’s pretty much a given that her relationship with Kanye West helped Kim Kardashian blossom into the fashion-forward figure we know her as today. Pre-Ye, Kim almost exclusively wore bandage dresses and nude pumps. But when they got together in 2012, he helped her gut her closet and bought her a new, more sophisticated wardrobe. The next year, she was his plus-one at the Met Gala. And thus, a style star was born.
A decade later, Kardashian doesn’t need her soon-to-be-ex husband to get into the Met, or to help her figure out her style. A recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu finds all five sisters and their mom Kris Jenner headed to the 2022 Met Ball, and the Skims founder reflects on how her clothes and her personal journey have both evolved.
Photo: Getty
“At my first Met experience, Kanye was there to teach me so much about fashion, and I’m so grateful to him,” she said. “But now, it’s so fun and empowering to just try to do it on my own. And I just wanna make sure that everything is perfect.”
Perfect is the watchword! While getting ready, Kardashian treats her sisters to a tour of some other Marilyn Monroe items, plus the dress she’s about to wear, set up in her hotel suite, but warns them to touch nothing, bring no food or drink inside, and if they have to sneeze, step away. Yep, Kim Kardashian is truly running the show now, she needs no guide.
Photo: Getty
The fact that every sister got an invite this year points to just how far the family has come, celebrities in their own right as opposed to famous for the men they date. Not that the reality star is ready to walk the carpet solo. She attended the event with then-boyfriend Pete Davidson.

Kim Kardashian arrived on the red carpet for the Baby2Baby gala on Saturday in West Hollywood, California, wearing a head-to-toe pink ensemble.

In honor of the gala, Kardashian wore a Balenciaga spring 2023 long-sleeved pink cutout dress accented with bows and a crisscross fabric neckline. The dress also had a long flowing train.

Balenciaga’s creative director Demna said his spring 2023 collection was “very me in terms of references, looks and silhouettes.” The runway show was known as the “mud show” because models walked through a muddy hole in the ground as their stage.

For makeup, Kardashian went for an elevated but minimalist evening look. She opted for a nude matte lip and a touch of mascara. She had her hair parted down the center and pulled back into a tight bun, with a single strand placed to the side of her face.

Kardashian was accompanied at the Baby2Baby gala by her mother Kris Jenner and her sister Kylie Jenner. The trio, along with sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, launched a holiday capsule collection with Judith Leiber in October.

Kardashian received the Giving Tree Award at this year’s Baby2Baby ceremony, which honors women in the public eye who have shown commitment to giving back to children in need across the globe. Filmmaker Tyler Perry presented Kardashian with the award.

Baby2Baby is a national nonprofit organization supporting children living in poverty and providing relief to families impacted by the U.S. baby formula shortage. The gala was presented by hair care company Paul Mitchell.
