When it comes to serving looks, we all deserve chilled days. Even celebrities of Jennifer Lopez’s magnitude need to swap their vertiginous heels for comfier shoes. Her latest ensemble is perfect for a chic day off.
While out at the Malibu Chilli Cook-Off on Sunday with her sons and husband, Ben Affleck, the 53-year-old pop sensation wowed onlookers in a surprisingly pared-back ensemble. The look included a long-sleeved, billowing white linen dress, a medium Dior Book tote bag in brown, silver Jennifer Fisher hoops and a silver pendant necklace. The star’s ultra-casual red and white Adidas X Gucci shoes, the complete opposite of the platform stilettos she has been renowned for wearing in recent years, were what caught the most attention though.
Sometimes it’s better to go with a more practical footwear option for a leisurely day out, but that doesn’t mean you need to compromise on chicness. Follow J.Lo’s example and opt for a pair of stylish yet comfortable sandals.

After wearing a gown by Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad for her first nuptials with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez tapped another creative from the region for her second wedding. Paired with her three uniquely breathtaking dresses by Ralph Lauren was equally exceptional jewelry, with one pair of earrings created by Lebanese-American designer Samer Halimeh.
Halimeh is a diamond trader by profession, and his namesake New York-based jewelry brand, known for its jaw-dropping pieces, is loved by celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Priyanka Chopra, and now Lopez. For her big wedding ceremony in Georgia, the 53-year-old pop star styled her halter neck dress for the after-party with a pair of brilliant flower drop earrings by the brand. Featuring marquise and pear-cut 27ct diamonds, the bespoke earrings are reportedly worth US $2 million (that’s a little over AED 7 million), and certainly added to the glam factor of Lopez’s Swarovski crystal-embellished gown.

Halimeh was born in Beirut, “during the height of the Lebanese Civil War”, and his passion for diamonds led him to a career in trading, despite coming from a family of medical professionals. “JLo looked ever-stunning and breathtaking on her wedding to Ben Affleck. Congratulations to the beautiful couple,” wrote the designer on Instagram sharing a picture of Lopez wearing the earrings. Samer Halimeh was also the jeweler behind Lopez’s emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, which was given to her by her former partner Alex Rodriguez.
Other pieces of jewelry worn by Lopez for her wedding to Affleck include Mikimoto’s classic white South Sea cultured pearl and diamond drop earrings set in platinum, and a ring with the same diamonds and a central South Sea pearl, which she wore to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony, the singer paired her pearl-laden gown with Mikimoto pearl and diamond studs.

Is there any aesthetic Jennifer Lopez can’t pull off? Judging by her latest off-duty ensemble, the answer would be a resounding ‘No’.
Having freshly returned home from her Parisian honeymoon with husband Ben Affleck, the musical icon stepped out earlier this week dressed in a casual look that brought together all the colors of the rainbow. J.Lo’s pick: a cosy tie-dye sweatshirt, worn with matching joggers to create a psychedelic look that’s not for the faint-hearted. Take a closer look at her pictures from the streets of Los Angeles below.
Jennifer Lopez styled her rainbow sweatsuit with equally bold accessories
Never one to do things halfway, Jennifer Lopez gave lounge wear a vibrant spin with her Polo Ralph Laurent co-ord set. And to top off her off-duty look, the multi-hyphenate opted for equally bold accessories. Instead of going with neutral pieces, Lopez paired her multicolored outfit with red-framed sunglasses, a deep green Birkin, and white Nike sneakers that came with neon pink and yellow detailing. She elevated the entire look with her signature skinny gold hoop earrings.
As she often does, the star went with a minimal beauty look for this casual outing—a slicked ban bun, dewy skin, and minimal makeup. Recently, Lopez also went on record to share some of the secrets behind her trademark glow. Turns out, one product she swears by is a good SPF. “The one thing I’ve done since my late teens/early 20s is wearing sunscreen,” she elaborated. “A lot of people don’t use it every day and only wear it when it’s super sunny or when they go to the beach, but I got lucky because a dermatologist told me early on to wear sunscreen every day.”
If you haven’t done it already, let Jennifer Lopez’s latest snapshots inspire you to invest in good sun protection — and a playful tie-dye set. A look like hers is bound to come in handy for everything from grocery store runs to casual movie nights.

Jennifer Lopez has had an eventful few weeks — naturally, with an incredible wardrobe in tow. The latest in her series of stunning looks (after her wedding to Ben Affleck, and their Paris honeymoon), is an ensemble fit for a summer soirée, should you wish to channel JLo this season.
The 52-year-old touched down in Italy this weekend to perform at the LuisaViaRoma x Unicef Capri Gala 2022, and while she wore a bold, custom Roberto Cavalli creation on stage, she went for an ultra-feminine outfit to arrive at the event. Her pick for the evening featured a breezy yellow dress which came with a sleeveless slip under a sheer dress with a high frilled collar and balloon sleeves. Lightly cinched at the waist, the tiered maxi had a ruffled and floor-grazing hem, which Lopez was spotted lifting to quickly make her way through the hoard of paparazzi.

The newlywed’s romantic number was accessorized by a Valentino Garavani Locò Bag — a style that’s also won the votes of Balqees and Salma Abu Deif recently — in a glittering green shade, along with earrings with colorful stones, and one of her favorite styles of footwear: platforms, in white. Matchy-matchy and monochrome outfits may be the go-to for stars at the moment, but leave it to Lopez to move on from the trend and pull off a multicolored outfit with ease. The singer also favored bright colors for her previous outing in Capri, when she wore a Valentino mini dress with red, orange, and gold patterns.

Overseas or back home, working or catching up on downtime—trust Lopez to bring her style A-game to every appearance.

Jennifer Lopez is having a good week. Just days after tying the knot with Ben Affleck, she is taking over the internet with her envvy-worthy honeymoon outfits. And what better reason to take a nostalgic look back at her sartorial highlights? Any excuse…
When you think of ’90s style icons, you likely head straight to the likes of Naomi Campbell, Winona Ryder, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Love, Drew Barrymore, etc., but while we have all been in love with J.Lo (or is it J.Aff now?) for as long as we can remember her undeniable status as a major fashion figure often gets overlooked.
Perhaps it’s because we’re busy focussing on her endless other talents – we’d be happy with just one of her triple-threat traits from that voice to her acting and dance skills – but J.Lo’s recent return to the limelight thanks to a rematch with A-list ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck has sent the majority of millennials down a rabbit hole of ’90s nostalgia.
And the one thing that stands out from our J.Lo reminiscence — other than the fact that, at the age of 53, she still looks exactly like she did in her twenties — is her wardrobe.
The red carpet queen owned the 2021 Met Gala, showing up in a jaw-dropping metallic Ralph Lauren gown with a feathered trim and a thigh-high slit paired perfectly with a cowgirl hat to fit the all-American theme of the night – an assignment, not many of the other guests understood.
JLo looked happier than ever as she posed with Affleck once again after the two made their red carpet debut (since reuniting) at Venice Film Festival 2021.
Met Gala aside, there were so many iconic looks that we’d forgotten about.
Sure, there’s the Versace dress. THE Versace dress. You know, the palm-print chiffon one. The one that saw her appearance on the Grammys 2000 red carpet become (and remain!) one of the most significant fashion moments of the new millennium. The one that quickly became the most searched-for term Google had ever seen. The one that was the reason Google Images was born, after these searches only offered text results (we’re not kidding).
But there have been so many other major fashion moments that J.Lo has given us that we’d forgotten about in the haze of green chiffon.
There was the color-block one-shoulder gown she wore to the 1998 Golden Globes with a cut-out that wouldn’t look out of place in a 2021 wardrobe. There was the chainmail crop top and low-slung leather trousers at the 1998 MTV Movie Awards. There was the full embellished — even up to the headpiece — Versace looks at the 2019 Met Gala. There were so many.
Scroll to see 27 of Jennifer Lopez’s most memorable fashion moments:
In one of her early appearances, J.Lo arrived at the Independent Spirit Awards in 1997 wearing an epic white column dress with a metallic floral print running through.
Already making a name for herself as a real trendsetter, J.Lo arrived at a Fashion Benefit for APLA in 1997 in a strappy backless gown that wouldn’t look out of place today.
There was nothing we didn’t love about this color-block one-shoulder gown that Jennifer Lopez wore to the 1998 Golden Globes, and it confirmed her status as one of the decade’s best dressed.
Ever the style instigator, J.Lo made sure cropped tops were a red carpet staple and paired a chainmail number with a maxi leather skirt on the 1998 MTV Music Awards red carpet.
Later on at the MTV Video Music Awards she swapped into another crop in the form of a bralette and paired it with a particularly epic blazer.
Another cream crop and trousers look, this time at the 1999 FHM Awards in London.
THE Versace dress, worn on the 2000 Grammy Awards red carpet
At the Paris premiere of ‘The Cell’, J.Lo trialled a little knitted camo action and kicked off her love affair with the hooped earring.
Back to the cropped bralettes, she arrived on stage at the 2001 Super Bowl in perhaps the most recognizably J.Lo look of them all.
Wearing a sheer-topped, metallic skirted gown to the Oscars in 2001.
The next year J.Lo opted for a more slim-fitting pastel pink number by Versace for the 2002 Oscars.
It was a one-shouldered Valentino gown in mint for the 2003 Oscars.
In 2006 J.Lo opted for something a little more alternative by shopping vintage at Lily et Cie for her Oscars look.
Perfectly on-brand, J.Lo wore a plunging gold Marchesa gown for the 2009 Golden Globes.
Having a real princess moment in Armani Privé at the 2010 Oscars.
Wearing Zuhair Murad at the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards.
J.Lo wore Atelier Versace at the 2015 Met Gala which had the theme ‘China: Through The Looking Glass’.
Having her own Angelina leg moment, she paired black accessories with this beautiful fuchsia gown.
While promoting the second season of the NBC show World of Dance in 2018, she wore a strapless ruffled mini from Ester Abner’s Resort ’18 collection with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.
No one does a hat like J.Lo, as proven at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
February 2019 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, a show-stopping J.Lo plumped for an appropriately epic Valentino gown.
Arriving at the 2019 Met Gala wearing a silver Versace gown and matching headpiece for the gala’s ‘Camp’ theme.
At the 2019 Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences Governors Awards in a floor-length mustard Reem Acra gown.
Winning the ‘People’s Icon’ award at the People’s Choice Awards in 2020, J.Lo wore a red puffball mini dress by Christian Siriano.
Kicking off 2021 in serious style wearing an all-white Chanel look for the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden.
One of few to actually follow the 2021 Met theme, JLo channeled her inner cowgirl in a stunning Ralph Lauren gown with a feathered trim, a dramatic thigh-high slit, and a plunging neckline that dropped our jaws to the floor. Naturally, she had a cow boy hat to complete the look.
Arriving at ‘Global Citizen VAX LIVE: The Concert To Reunite The World’ in May 2021.
Silencing all those who declare the skinny jean ‘over’, one casual ‘pop to the shops’ at a time.

Newlywed Jennifer Lopez is embracing summer florals with open arms on her honeymoon with husband Ben Affleck. Currently in Paris, the newly-minted 53-year-old star was spotted in the City of Lights wearing not one, but three breezy dresses in the happy print, with the standout being a beautiful modest number.
While most of Lopez’s honeymoon looks have been casual, this particular one leaned more on the glamorous and formal side and offered inspiration for demure dressing in the summer at the same time. The singer wore the romantic dress for a dinner date at Plénitude ahead of her birthday, which came with blush pink flowers intermingled with shining gold leaves on a cream fabric. The full-length piece featured long balloon sleeves and pleated detailing on the bodice, as well as metallic embellishment on the neckline, making the dress occasion-appropriate. Lopez accessorized the look with a gold Dolce & Gabbana box purse, flower-shaped stud earrings, and bracelets. For her beauty look, the star went for an elegant updo with curtain bangs framing her face, and glowing, rosy cheeks paired with a nude lip.
Other floral dresses worn by Lopez on her honeymoon include a corseted off-white dress with dainty flowers and another with a larger, 50s-style print. Her low-key, yet chic wardrobe for sightseeing in Paris arm-in-arm with Affleck also included a bold monochrome number—a bright fuchsia dress with a keyhole neckline, which she paired with a pink Valentino Garavani bag and nude platform heels.

The Secret Messages Hidden in Avril Lavigne’s Heart-Shaped, and Jennifer Lopez’s Green Engagement Rings

In a week that saw the engagements of two much-loved singers—Avril Lavigne and Jennifer Lopez—also come two unique rings with jewelry inspiration in tow.
On Thursday, Canadian star Avril Lavigne announced her engagement to fellow musician Derek Ryan Smith, known as Mod Sun, who popped the question in Paris on March 27. Given that engagement rings with an emotional meaning have been a trend for long, and that Lavigne is known for her stand-out pop punk style, the ‘Sk8er Boi’ singer’s rock had to be just as special. While in the City of Love, against a romantic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, Mod Sun asked Lavigne to marry him with a heart-shaped diamond ring. What’s more, the ring is also marked with a personalized inscription. “It has the words ‘Hi Icon’ engraved in it, which were the first words he ever said to me,” the 37-year-old told People. “And it has Mod + Avril on the inside. He knew from the very beginning I wanted a heart-shaped diamond because on the day we met, we had matching heart-shaped pavéd rings on. We’ve worn them every day since, so it’s only fitting to have a heart-shaped engagement ring. I love it so much.”
Mod Sun enlisted Lavigne’s friend and designer Caryn Alpert at the celebrity-loved XIV Karats for the custom-made ring. “He knew that he really wanted to do something with hearts and have the most dazzling, biggest, flawless heart-shaped ring for her,” Alpert told Page Six of the 5-carat stone set in a royal setting and featuring little diamond hearts on the band. “They also have a connection to France and royalty and he wanted it to look like a crown too, so there’s a lot of beautiful detail around the heart shape itself,” said the designer.

While Lavigne’s sparkler made headlines for its distinct shape, Lopez’s did the same for its extraordinary color. The star announced her engagement to actor Ben Affleck for the second time, via her newsletter On the JLo, and showed off her ring which appears to be a 8.5ct natural green diamond set on a silver band. According to an older newsletter from Lopez, the color of the stone is particularly meaningful. “I always say the color green is my lucky color. Maybe you can remember a certain green dress,” the 52-year-old had written, referring to her viral moment in the iconic Versace jungle print dress. “I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”

Previous engagement rings received by Lopez have been equally noteworthy, with Affleck presenting her with a ring featuring a pink stone set between two diamond baguettes for their first engagement.
