Pink is not an oft-worn color in Jennifer Lopez‘s off-duty wardrobe, seeing as the singer saves it for special occasions, such as her latest date night with husband Ben Affleck. After revealing their matching commitment tattoos, the two were spotted heading to dinner to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, for which Lopez opted for a feminine, blush pink look.
Head-to-toe in Dolce & Gabbana, the 53-year-old star’s ensemble for the evening featured a two-tone frock with sheer balloon sleeves and a ruffled hem. The piece could have passed as a breezy daytime outfit had it not been for Lopez’s pick of metallic accessories: A white belt with a gold buckle to match her towering platform heels. The one romantic detail to seal it all? A gold box clutch emblazoned with a red and white heart. Lopez’s glam complemented her outfit with glowy, flushed cheeks, a glossy nude lip, and a slicked-back ponytail.

Stepping out of the car and entering Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi restaurant, Lopez was photographed holding hands with Affleck, who looked sharp in a navy blue suit and coat. The outing comes a week after the couple made their Grammys debut and follows their Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ which took the internet by storm.
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, after revealing their engagement in April.

Ranked: 8 of Jennifer Lopez’s Dreamiest On-Screen Wedding Dresses, From Marry Me to Monster-in-Law

Jennifer Lopez is the undisputed queen of love, no questions asked.
The multi-talented performer has always championed the happily ever after theme by never giving up on love, starring in plenty of rom-coms, and generally spreading the warm-hearted message that true love is for everyone. Saying all this, we couldn’t have been more thrilled for her when she reunited with her former sweetheart Ben Affleck before the pair went on to tie in the knot in Las Vegas in 2022. Ever the romantic, the 53-year-old wore three breathtaking Ralph Lauren dresses during the evening and looked absolutely exquisite while doing so.
But what did we genuinely expect from Jennifer? Because if we know anything about her filmography, she’s a sucker for choosing projects centered on love, relationships and… weddings. While she’s finally found happiness with Gone Girl star Ben after walking down the aisle four times previously, being a bride has very obviously been a recurring theme in her impressive filmography.
So in honor of Valentine’s Day and her latest nuptials-related movie Shotgun Wedding becoming a runaway bridal (no pun intended) hit on Prime Video, we bring you all eight of Jennifer’s wedding films, ranked in order of how enjoyable they are to watch on the sofa with your friends. Enjoy (and hopefully, you may get some inspo from her dresses if you’re preparing for your big day soon!)
The Wedding Planner (2001)

One of Jennifer’s most iconic bridal movies was The Wedding Planner, in which her character, unfortunately, after her father’s pleas, married the wrong guy in this gorgeous off-the-shoulder. While she discovers that she’s actually in love with dreamy doctor Steve (Matthew McConaughey), we can’t help but be dazzled by her gorgeous wedding look, which was completed with a stunning pearl necklace, matching earrings and pearl-encrusted veil.
Maid in Manhattan (2002)

In Maid in Manhattan, Jennifer’s character Marisa, a hotel maid, was ahead of her time as she swapped out the traditional white wedding gown for a strapless floor-length, light pink chiffon gown. In the film, she embarks on a whirlwind romance with a healthy hotel guest Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes), after he confuses her with a glamorous guest. Costume designer Albert Wolsky previously described the movie’s vibe as a “Cinderella story”, so while the dress technically wasn’t a wedding gown, it was still very fitting.

Marry Me (2022)

In Marry Me, Jennifer Lopez plays international popstar Kat Valdez who plans on getting married to her fellow popstar boyfriend in front of their fans, only to discover he’s cheated on her just seconds before she goes on stage. Heartbreak in that very moment aside, she looks terrific in her showstopping silver metallic Zuhair Murad wedding dress. According to Variety, the gown weighed 95 pounds and had “nine layers constructed of silk taffeta, horsehair and tulle” and “sparkling crystals, silver, ruffles, embroidery and lace.”
Shotgun Wedding (2023)

Jennifer’s latest wedding film sees her as one-half of a couple who have been held hostage by pirates alongside their wedding guests just seconds before they’re set to walk down the aisle. Throughout the movie, she wears a poofy, chiffon wedding dress that unfortunately suffers some severe damage as the husband-and-wife-to-be work to save themselves. We’ll let the destruction on the dress slide on this one…
Enough (2002)

In Enough, Jennifer takes on the role of Slim, an abused wife constantly on the run from her nightmare of a husband to search for a better life for herself and her young daughter. While the movie’s theme isn’t Jen’s typical rom-com, there is a wedding scene in which she looks beautiful in a strappy tulle dress while reminiscing on her happy days with her boyfriend, Mitch.
Jersey Girl (2004)

Yes, that’s Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, back in 2004, getting married in the movie Jersey Girl! However, director Kevin Smith cut the scene out of the film because of the pair’s high-profile relationship in real life, which saw them go as far as getting engaged. Speaking to US Weekly about the scene, Kevin explained: “I didn’t know (if it was right) to leave it in. People might forget they’re watching a picture, like, ‘Wait, didn’t these two not get married?”
El Cantante (2006)

Marc Anthony was another man Jennifer married in real life and on-screen in the movie El Cantante. In the film, the actress played icon Nilda ‘Puchi’ Lavoe, the wife of salsa legend Héctor Lavoe (played by Marc). We love these gorgeous era-defining wedding look Jen had for the film. The long, teased hair and dramatic veil are everything!
Monster-in-Law (2005)

No mother of the groom could stop Jennifer’s character from looking stunning on her big day, even if the role was played by the fabulous-in-real-life Jane Fonda. The white wedding gloves were the icing on the cake of her big moment, and a big smug clap back to her most prominent critic Viola as she married her son.

Jennifer Lopez Affleck has worn it all—from sheer dresses to opaque dresses, little black dresses to long green dresses. Leave it to J.Lo, then, to find a classic see-through gown with an actually surprising twist.
At the Hollywood premiere of her umpteenth movie about matrimony, Shotgun Wedding, on Wednesday, January 18, Lopez walked the red carpet in stunning Valentino couture gown. The classic “naked dress,” which features an embellished sheer overlay atop a nude bodysuit, had a unique twist: Under the sheer layer, Lopez wore a lemon yellow sash tied across her hips.

Styled by Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, Lopez tied the look together with a matching Tyler Ellis clutch in Peeps yellow (if that color isn’t already trademarked, it should be) and stunning diamond jewelry, including dangly earrings, a matching cuff, and a diamond and pearl statement ring.
The 53-year-old posed with her co-star, Josh Duhamel, on the carpet, where J.Lo looked totally natural and comfortable participating in a silly little pose.

And what would a premiere be without an after-party? Jennifer Lopez was joined post-premiere by hubby and official Dunkin’ spokesperson Ben Affleck, as well as Duhamel’s wife, Audra Mari. Naturally, the JLo Beauty founder changed for the occasion, swapping her floor-skimming couture for a ruffled white minidress, also by Valentino, which she styled with fishnet stockings and platform Mary Janes—Valentino’s signature shoe.

J.Lo, being J.Lo, will probably wear several more outstanding outfits before this press cycle is over, and for that we can all be grateful.

Jennifer Lopez Thinks Pink in Magda Butrym Ruched Dress for ‘Shotgun Wedding’ Press Appearance

Jennifer Lopez has rosettes on her mind.

The actress began promoting Amazon Video’s romantic comedy “Shotgun Wedding” with her costar Josh Duhamel on Wednesday wearing a range of pastel pink hues from top to bottom. Styled by fashion stylist Rob Zangardi, Lopez slipped into a Magda Butrym ruched midi-length dress trimmed with a spiral of detachable rosettes at the neck.

Zangardi shared snippets of her fitting on Instagram, opting to pair the monotoned dress with a leather bubblegum-pink trenchcoat and lace nude sandals.

The Mock Neck midi dress in pink ($1,695) featured ruched detailing at the neckline, along its formfitting under-arm hem and throughout its center back zipper-up silhouette. The dress’s shape was complemented by a sleeveless component and a high-neck seam.

Lopez’s final press look was tied in with a chignon updo and two face-framing strands grazing the rosettes on her dress. Even her nails were painted in pink polish reflective of the day’s colorway.

She accessorized with gold earrings and rings to match her pastel-pink Coach shoulder bag’s golden brass buckle. Lopez was named Coach’s global ambassador in 2019, under the creative direction of Stuart Vevers, and had recently appeared in the brand’s holiday campaign along with Zoey Deutch and more.

As the film gears up to stream worldwide on Amazon Prime on Jan. 27, viewers got a glimpse of what’s to come of it with a trailer release on Wednesday, showcasing Golden Globe recipient Jennifer Coolidge singing. Coolidge will portray the mother of the groom in the film.

Plotted as a destination wedding, Lopez otherwise known as “Darcy,” and Duhamel, characterized as “Tom,” will lead the film as the bride and groom who are taken hostage along with all their wedding attendees. The bridal and comedic theme of the film is not a first for Lopez, who starred in “Monster-in-Law” in 2005 with Jane Fonda and Michael Vartan.

It’s safe to say that 2022 was Jennifer Lopez‘s year. But by the looks of it, 2023 is going to be just as big for the multi-hyphenate, who will be dropping a new album, This is Me… Now, in the coming months. And a quick scroll through J.Lo’s style files will also tell you that her wardrobe has never been sharper than it is right now, replete with statement-making accessories, feminine classics, and elegant hues.
Keeping with her current sartorial streak, Lopez made yet another on-point appearance recently, and the pictures have already earned hundreds of likes and comments on social media. For a relaxing day outdoors, the 53-year-old stunner opted for a look that’s quite surprising for the ongoing winter: a head-to-toe floral outfit by Carolina Herrera. Take a closer look below.

Jennifer Lopez shows you how to mix-and-match prints with her latest look
In her most recent pictures, Jennifer Lopez was seen wearing a romantic, yet playful look by Carolina Herrera that comprised a vibrant yellow off-shoulder blouse, and a ruched white pencil skirt. While the top featured a halter-style tie-up, ruffles along the sleeves, and a 3D bloom at the neckline, Lopez’s floral skirt stood out for its intricate gathers, which added volume without taking attention away from her blouse. Despite their clashing prints, the star’s separates came together seamlessly, and were complemented further by a pair of PVC heels with a hot pink base.

To complete her look and bring in a little more synergy, Jennifer Lopez teamed her Carolina Herrera outfit with a fuchsia lip that worked well with the pink blooms patterned on her clothing, but opted for a muted yellow manicure. A collection of sparkling rings (including that much-talked-about green diamond engagement ring from now-husband Ben Affleck) added the final touch to her look. As for her hair and makeup, J.Lo went with a combination that never fails her: beautifully sculpted cheekbones, dreamy falsies, and a voluminous ponytail. This one’s a look you must bookmark for your next formal brunch outing.

Get To Know Tyler Ellis, the Handbag Designer Hollywood Can’t Get Enough of Right Now

Statement bags have been a thing for decades now, and logomania isn’t a trend that’s fading away anytime soon. Yet every once in a while, less truly is more, and none would agree more than Tyler Ellis. The creative Director and CEO of her eponymous brand, Ellis has slowly but surely carved a niche for herself in the luxury accessories market, with some of the most influential women in the world—from Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Lopez, to Jill Biden, Kerry Washington, Paris Hilton and Heidi Klum favoring her understated, yet sinfully luxurious clutches and bags.
“My father, American fashion designer Perry Ellis, passed away when I was eighteen months old,” Ellis recalls during a chat with Vogue Arabia. “My mother chose to raise me in Los Angeles, away from New York and the fashion scene. I always loved bags and accessories, but I shied away from the industry because of the fear of not living up to my father’s iconic reputation. I ended up following in my mother’s footsteps, earning a degree in communications at Boston University.” Within a year of graduating, young Ellis realized that Hollywood just wasn’t for her. “I left LA and moved to New York and was fortunate enough to get a job with Michael Kors, where I was able to work behind the scenes directly with Michael and his partner/creative director Lance LePere styling his runway show. I watched and learned how the tiniest details can make or break a look, a principle that has become one of the key pillars behind my brand.”

Today, Ellis’ bags are a hit on Instagram, and their discreet designs make them the perfect accompaniments to simple and statement looks alike. The pinecone-inspired details have become a signature—more on that later—and the jewel-toned clutches are both, fuss-free yet fashion-forward. Below, Vogue Arabia gets to know more about the woman who’s changing the way the world looks at accessories, one bag at a time.
Tell us about the moment when you first decided to launch your own brand of bags. What inspired the decision?
After my time at Michael Kors I felt ready to embark on the long process of building a modern luxury label.  My goal is not to be the next trend, it is to establish my roots in the luxury world, grow slowly, continue to gain industry trust and respect, while building on my Ellis legacy.
Photo: Courtesy Tyler Ellis
I chose to focus on luxury not only because of my love and admiration for artisanal works, but also because I found women globally carrying the same logo driven bags from large fashion houses. I decided early on that my silhouettes would not have logos anywhere on the exterior because I want the design, craftmanship and materials to speak for themselves. The strategic, yet subtle brand details I did create are all personally significant.  The interior of every bag is lined in my signature Thayer Blue, named after the Los Angeles street where I spent my early years and inspired by my long-time favorite color, Blue Violet. My symbolic Pinecone embodies the ancient symbol of the third eye, representing the highest form of spiritual awakening, perfection and much more. Pinecones adorn the zippers, feet and fasteners of many of my designs.  Most special to me is my Tyler Ellis logo which is in my father’s penmanship. His writing was taken from an envelope he addressed to me on my first birthday, making him a part of every piece I create.

Your handbags look at luxury via a different lens, focusing on timeless pieces over trends. Does this approach also extend into your personal life? How so?
100%. When I purchase an item, whether it’s jewelry, clothes, or home furnishings, I want it to be relevant for a lifetime.  I love well-made striking pieces that could be either new or old.  My wardrobe consists mostly of neutral colors, and classic, quality silhouettes that I can wear for years to come.  Our home is a collection of new, vintage, and custom pieces combined in an elegant way that sets a mood, making the home feel like it has been around for a long time, yet finished tactfully, and beautifully providing the luxurious vibe of a modern residence.

Tell us about the first time your designs were worn by a celebrity. Who was it? What was that moment like?
Emily Blunt was the first celebrity to carry one of my bags. I was in Paris walking home from dinner, and I remember looking down at my phone and saw the image of Emily holding my clutch. It was a surreal moment. My heart started pounding, and I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear. To this day, I am humbled every time I see my bags on the red carpet in the hands of talented, beautiful, and influential women. These are women who have access to anything and everything, and it makes me so proud that they choose to carry my designs.
This experience has also evolved for me. As much as I love seeing my bags on the red carpet, nothing makes me happier as a designer than seeing my bags worn in public.

Your pieces have made it to countless red carpet events and have been spotted on several famous personalities. Who do you hope to see carrying your bags one day?
I would love for Kate Middleton to carry one of my pieces. She is timeless, elegant and an intelligent, worldly role model for young girls. She does not go for trends, her style is classic yet youthful, and my bags would complement her wardrobe beautifully. I envision my signature Lee Pouchet paired with her monochromatic moments, my LJ Handbag styled with her chic coat dresses, and my Perry Clutch as the finishing touch to her sparkling Jenny Packham gowns.

How would you describe the Tyler Ellis woman?
Timeless, confident, sophisticated, understated, and worldly. My clients are women who have their branded high-end bags, but are looking for unique pieces with the same impeccable quality. These women have access to the créme de la crème, so I wanted to offer them something special that the larger fashion houses cannot, a full bespoke experience. I launched Bespoke by Tyler Ellis, a program that offers clients a personally tailored experience that connects them directly with a member of our dedicated concierge team to customize a one-of-a-kind handbag. This highly curated service allows you to hand select every decorative aspect of your bag including skin/material, hardware, embroidery, or engraving. Our devoted team will work with our exclusive network of top Italian and French tanneries to find the exact color or shade you’ve been dreaming of. Straps and chains will be cut to your precise measurements and your personalized handbag will be delivered to you within a matter of weeks.
One of the most rewarding complements I continue to receive from clients is that they get stopped more often carrying my handbags than any other brand they own.
Lastly, what’s next for you in terms of designing?
I’m finalizing the hardware for a new silhouette I designed with the red carpet in mind. We are planning to release it for awards season 2023. I’m also working on a capsule collection for one of the big hotels in the region. We are hoping to launch early next year.  Stay tuned!

Jennifer Lopez Paired Her Breezy White Dress With the Most Unexpected Athleisure Footwear

Jennifer Lopez Paired Her Breezy White Dress With the Most Unexpected Athleisure Footwear

When it comes to serving looks, we all deserve chilled days. Even celebrities of Jennifer Lopez’s magnitude need to swap their vertiginous heels for comfier shoes. Her latest ensemble is perfect for a chic day off.
While out at the Malibu Chilli Cook-Off on Sunday with her sons and husband, Ben Affleck, the 53-year-old pop sensation wowed onlookers in a surprisingly pared-back ensemble. The look included a long-sleeved, billowing white linen dress, a medium Dior Book tote bag in brown, silver Jennifer Fisher hoops and a silver pendant necklace. The star’s ultra-casual red and white Adidas X Gucci shoes, the complete opposite of the platform stilettos she has been renowned for wearing in recent years, were what caught the most attention though.
Sometimes it’s better to go with a more practical footwear option for a leisurely day out, but that doesn’t mean you need to compromise on chicness. Follow J.Lo’s example and opt for a pair of stylish yet comfortable sandals.

After wearing a gown by Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad for her first nuptials with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez tapped another creative from the region for her second wedding. Paired with her three uniquely breathtaking dresses by Ralph Lauren was equally exceptional jewelry, with one pair of earrings created by Lebanese-American designer Samer Halimeh.
Halimeh is a diamond trader by profession, and his namesake New York-based jewelry brand, known for its jaw-dropping pieces, is loved by celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Priyanka Chopra, and now Lopez. For her big wedding ceremony in Georgia, the 53-year-old pop star styled her halter neck dress for the after-party with a pair of brilliant flower drop earrings by the brand. Featuring marquise and pear-cut 27ct diamonds, the bespoke earrings are reportedly worth US $2 million (that’s a little over AED 7 million), and certainly added to the glam factor of Lopez’s Swarovski crystal-embellished gown.

Halimeh was born in Beirut, “during the height of the Lebanese Civil War”, and his passion for diamonds led him to a career in trading, despite coming from a family of medical professionals. “JLo looked ever-stunning and breathtaking on her wedding to Ben Affleck. Congratulations to the beautiful couple,” wrote the designer on Instagram sharing a picture of Lopez wearing the earrings. Samer Halimeh was also the jeweler behind Lopez’s emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, which was given to her by her former partner Alex Rodriguez.
Other pieces of jewelry worn by Lopez for her wedding to Affleck include Mikimoto’s classic white South Sea cultured pearl and diamond drop earrings set in platinum, and a ring with the same diamonds and a central South Sea pearl, which she wore to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony, the singer paired her pearl-laden gown with Mikimoto pearl and diamond studs.

Jennifer Lopez’s Rainbow-Colored Tie-Dye Sweatsuit Makes Lazy Girl Dressing Fun

Is there any aesthetic Jennifer Lopez can’t pull off? Judging by her latest off-duty ensemble, the answer would be a resounding ‘No’.
Having freshly returned home from her Parisian honeymoon with husband Ben Affleck, the musical icon stepped out earlier this week dressed in a casual look that brought together all the colors of the rainbow. J.Lo’s pick: a cosy tie-dye sweatshirt, worn with matching joggers to create a psychedelic look that’s not for the faint-hearted. Take a closer look at her pictures from the streets of Los Angeles below.

Jennifer Lopez styled her rainbow sweatsuit with equally bold accessories
Never one to do things halfway, Jennifer Lopez gave lounge wear a vibrant spin with her Polo Ralph Laurent co-ord set. And to top off her off-duty look, the multi-hyphenate opted for equally bold accessories. Instead of going with neutral pieces, Lopez paired her multicolored outfit with red-framed sunglasses, a deep green Birkin, and white Nike sneakers that came with neon pink and yellow detailing. She elevated the entire look with her signature skinny gold hoop earrings.
Photo: Instagram.com
As she often does, the star went with a minimal beauty look for this casual outing—a slicked ban bun, dewy skin, and minimal makeup. Recently, Lopez also went on record to share some of the secrets behind her trademark glow. Turns out, one product she swears by is a good SPF. “The one thing I’ve done since my late teens/early 20s is wearing sunscreen,” she elaborated. “A lot of people don’t use it every day and only wear it when it’s super sunny or when they go to the beach, but I got lucky because a dermatologist told me early on to wear sunscreen every day.”
If you haven’t done it already, let Jennifer Lopez’s latest snapshots inspire you to invest in good sun protection — and a playful tie-dye set. A look like hers is bound to come in handy for everything from grocery store runs to casual movie nights.
