Inside Julia Fox’s New York City Birthday Celebrations With Kanye West

It seems Julia Fox had a birthday to remember. This week, the actress celebrated her 32nd birthday in New York City along with her boyfriend Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. The couple were seen at the celebrity-favorite French bistro Lucien in the East Village, where Fox wore a tight leather bandeau top with matching low-rise leggings. She topped off the look with a leather trenchcoat, black boots and a black ostrich Hermès Birkin.
At the dinner table, Fox was seen opening her presents, which included a Hermès bag and various pieces of diamond jewelry. The model-actress reportedly received multiple Birkin bags in different colors, including black, baby blue, navy and royal blue.

Some of the guests who were present for the festivities include playwright-actor Jeremy O. Harris, musician Zola Moon and models Paloma Elsesser and Richie Shazam.
For the after party, Fox and Ye headed to an unfinished storefront next to Lucien where they ate birthday cake and danced all night.

Last month, the couple made a splash in their joint appearances during Paris couture week, specifically at the Kenzo and Schiaparelli shows, where the couple showed up in matching ensembles.

The two apparently caused a frenzy outside the Kenzo fall 2022 show, where Fox told WWD she was wearing Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry’s personal pair of Carhartt jeans. She finished the look with a Schiaparelli denim jacket with conical breasts, which she matched with oversize gilded earrings shaped like buttocks to match with Ye, who also wore denim head-to-toe by Balenciaga.
Later that week, the duo stepped out once again in matching ensembles, this time in all-black leather for Schiaparelli’s spring 2022 haute couture show. With the help of stylists Peri Rosenzweig and Briana Andalore and makeup artist Daniel Kolaric, Fox wore a black Schiaparelli minidress with thigh-high leather boots and signature jewelry pieces by the designer.
In an article she wrote for Interview magazine, she confirmed that she and the rapper have been dating since they met in Miami on New Year’s Eve, stating “it was an instant connection.”

Hermès Counterfeit Ring Gets Prison Sentences

Hermès Counterfeit Ring Gets Prison Sentences

PARIS — A Paris court has handed down prison sentences to 23 people in the latest Hermès counterfeit ring case and awarded 10.4 million euros in damages to the French leather goods house, according to Agence France Presse.
Twenty-three people were charged, including nine former Hermès employees, the news agency reported. A 41-year-old man was sentenced, in absentia, to six years in prison and fined 1.5 million euros; a warrant has been issued for his arrest. The individual was accused of being the mastermind of the network, which included a workshop in Hong Kong.
Some 400 handbags were made in clandestine workshops in France and Hong Kong, while 800 came from the house’s employee program, which allows workers to make their own handbags.

A monthlong trial at the end of last year resulted in the judgment related to handbags made between 2008 and 2012, according to the report.
Hundreds of copied Birkin bags, supplied by the international network, were sold in France.
Another individual, age 66, was judged to be the main supplier and sentenced to four years in prison and fined 400,000 euros.
Hermès, along with luxury peers also selling collectible, high-end hand bags, is known for vigorously defending trademark rights. The leather goods specialist’s bags have proven their status as a safe haven investment during the unsettled, pandemic times.  Other recent counterfeit cases have also involved employees.
Hermès did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Top Five Must-See Accessories From the Hermès Fall 2021 Men’s Collection

Top Five Must-See Accessories From the Hermès Fall 2021 Men’s Collection

Hermès, a brand synonymous with true luxury, has built a men’s wear legacy based on traditionalism, while elevating minimalism dress codes with timeless appeal. But for fall 2021, Hermès designer Véronique Nichanian branched out and offered a more youthful and sporty collection, featuring hooded parkas, striped sweaters, joggers and fleecy jackets. A trend present throughout many men’s collections this season was a mash-up of indoor and outdoor references, and Hermès joined in with its leather shirts and cozy heritage plaids.
Accessories, which live at the core of the Hermès brand, were naturally at the forefront. The colorful, outdoor-inspired collection included an effortless reinvention of some classics from the French house, the introduction of new styles and even a highlighter pink sneaker. Here, our five accessory highlights from the Hermès show.

Haut à Courroies

The Haut à Courroies was Hermès’ first bag and was designed to protect and transport saddles and riding boots. This collectors’ favorite was presented in wooly canvas and calfskin, and the lighter construction allowed for a more casual and younger take on the iconic bag.
Tartan Galop Fourre Tout 48hr Bag

This is Hermès’ take on a weekender bag. Another classic from the heritage brand, it has been reinvented in a tartan tweed and calfskin and was featured in blue, green and the plaid graphic detail above, which folded in with the country-chic side of the collection. There may not be an immediate need for a weekend getaway bag, but the Hermès idea is to invest in pieces for years to come.

Hermès has done sneakers in the past, but never in this assortment of bright colors. These sporty kicks were featured in bright pink, blue, green and yellow.
