Another day, another impeccable outfit from Amina Muaddi. The Jordanian-Romanian accessories designer struck the right balance between day and nighttime summer glam when she stepped out in France this week.
For her trip to the Fontainebleau Palace, Muaddi picked a light green one-shoulder dress from Alexandre Vauthier, which came in draped stretch-satin fabric. Flouncy at the top with long, fitted sleeves, the asymmetrical bottom of the dress featured ruched detailing on one side for a figure-hugging look, and fit right in with Muaddi’s bold and feminine sense of style.

Naturally, the highlights of the designer’s look were accessories from her celebrity-loved eponymous brand. Going for a blinged-out look, Muaddi paired the dress with her silver Paloma clutch bag, and the Gilda glass sandals (complete with her signature Martini-glass heels), both of which came entirely covered in crystals. They clearly weren’t enough for Muaddi, who also matched her manicure to her ensemble by going for green rhinestones on top of a metallic silver base, which also makes for an Instagram-worthy beauty moment.

Statement dresses such as this Alexandre Vauthier number play a major role in Muaddi’s wardrobe. Following her stay in France, the designer flew to Ibiza to celebrate Dua Lipa’s birthday, for which she wore a nude-colored corset-style dress from Acne Studios. For inspiration on styling similar wardrobe heroes, one need not look further than Muaddi’s Instagram.

Gigi Hadid Makes Lime Green the Color of the Season in This Sparkling Dress

Hot pink has dominated the season – thank you, Pierpaolo Piccioli – but Gigi Hadid is making a case for another scene-stealing color. At the British Vogue x Self-Portrait summer party, Gigi, in a high-shine lime-green dress, played host with editor-in-chief Edward Enninful and Self-Portrait founder and creative director Han Chong.
The supermodel joined guests at Chiltern Firehouse wearing said zingy Self-Portrait dress, metallic heels and Self-Portrait’s new-season Bow bag – Han’s first-ever bag design, which he added to his accessories line-up earlier this year.

Gigi Hadid wore her bright blonde hair in a bun, with strands framing her face. Beauty-wise, she kept things simple, and went for a light blush-colored eye, a slight feline flick and a nude lip. She also sported a poppy blue manicure to offset the vibrant hue of her dress.

There were several famous faces in attendance. Celeste, Mj Rodriguez, designers Harris Reed and Chet Lo, Little Simz, Kai-Isaiah Jamal and Bimini Bon-Boulash partied at Chiltern, while Sabrina Elba, Bukky Bakray and models Aweng Chuol, Devon Ross and Ella Richards were also dressed by Self-Portrait.

It seems a lot of thought has gone into the accessories that went into the Duchess’s suitcases ahead of her and Prince William’s high-profile tour. Kate previously touched down in Belize wearing a blue lace skirt suit (also Jenny Packham) with a pair of sapphire drop earrings and a necklace refashioned from Princess Diana’s sapphire suite, a gift to Diana from Saudi Arabia’s royal family on the occasion of her 1981 wedding.
Last night’s jewelry choice – earrings and a bracelet from the Queen’s emerald tassel parure – served as a sweet nod to Her Majesty, who celebrates her Platinum Jubilee this year (and makes her debut on the cover of British Vogue in the April issue). Kate’s frequent appearances in the crown jewels over the years are a sign of the Queen’s affection for her grandson’s wife. In April last year, the Duchess memorably wore a four-strand pearl choker on loan from Her Majesty to the funeral of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
