Regarding his fall 2022 collection, Smith told WWD, “I’m blessed — my sales are going well with my retail partners, and I’m predicting they will be even better after this show. I’m hiring people, I’m heading to Paris with Nordstrom, and I have 25 sales appointments there. When I look at my stockists from Miami [Florida] to Russia, it’s cool to see people embrace this level of sexiness. Fashion is not dead.”

Selena Gomez turned 30 this past Friday, and the superstar marked the milestone in grand fashion. On Saturday evening, the superstar filled her Los Angeles home with tons of roses and hosted an intimate birthday party. Celebrity guests like singers Kim Petras, Camila Cabello, and Ava Max all made an appearance. (Gomez was also spotted grabbing dinner with her best friend Taylor Swift on Friday night).
For a night of dancing with her closest friends, Gomez chose a striking princess dress from Versace, styled by Kate Young. The pink, draped bodycon gown—complete with a lightweight tulle train—struck the perfect balance between timeless and modern, and the subtle pink beading fell in line with the party’s rose-filled decor. The Old Hollywood silhouette also continues Gomez’s retro style streak that she’s been on this summer, where the star has been favoring summer dresses that nod back to 1950s and 1960s.

Gomez’s latest evening wear moment turned out to be one her best fashion looks of the year. More important than her glamorous ensemble, however, was how Gomez felt on her special night. The star shared some thoughtful words about turning 30 on her Instagram. “My twenties were a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that I will never forget,”  wrote Gomez. “Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today. After a few days of celebrating, my heart feels full, grateful and I can say that I’m starting to really like 30.”
