Another day, another lesson in stroller chic from Gigi Hadid. For her latest outing in downtown Manhattan with three-month-old baby Zigi, the 25-year-old bundled up in Thom Browne’s floor-sweeping camel Chesterfield coat, its down-filled layers offering some much-needed protection from the frigid East Coat temperatures (a marked contrast with the equally stylish but distinctly less weather-appropriate Jeff Hamilton leather jacket worn by sister Bella during the city’s recent blizzard).
Gigi first sported the merino wool coat, which features a quartet of bar stripes on the left sleeve, to celebrate a friend’s birthday in Manhattan at the beginning of 2019, pairing it with quirky newspaper-print trousers by Miaou, lug-soled DKNY sneakers, and Prada’s cream and black Sidonie bag at the time. While shopping for last-minute Christmas presents on 19 December, on the other hand, the model kept her look classic – opting for a crisp white shirt, a pair of faded blue jeans, and her go-to Dr Martens 1460 lace-up boots in chocolate-brown leather.
Perhaps the most notable part of Gigi’s outfit? Her deliciously cozy Louis Vuitton bucket hat, with her freshly cut bangs peeking out from underneath the brim. The Christmas enthusiast wore the reversible style with the house’s laser-cut monogram print visible – relying on the all-over shearling lining to keep her ears toasty as she navigated the icy pavements with her Bugaboo Lynx Stroller.
