Saudi-Born Osamah Sisters Celebrate Familial Bonds with Fendi’s Peekaboo

The latest creatives to rediscover the unbreakable bond of family with Fendi‘s Peekaboo bag are Hayat Osamah, Alanoud Osamah, Noura Osamah, and Shushu Osamah. The Saudi-born sisters are the stars of a special version of Fendi’s #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign, created by Vogue Arabia in partnership with the Italian fashion house.

The Osamah sisters’ inseparable bond, their commitment to their craft – which includes modeling, hair styling, and photography – as well as their love for the Fendi Peekaboo make them the perfect fit for the #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign. Their talent combined with their drive to elevate Saudi Arabia’s creative scene and empower its youth have also earned them a growing amount of attention from the Middle East.

The #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign was launched in 2018 by Silvia Venturini Fendi in honor of the Peekaboo’s 10th anniversary, and is a major celebratory project that engages iconic women, their families, and their relationships with the signature accessory. “The Peekaboo bag is simple, complex, and timeless” the designer had said at the time of the launch. “It’s one of those objects that you want to belong to your family, that will really stay with you for all your life.” Previous editions of the campaign have featured three generations of the Kardashian clan and rising stars Chloe x Halle.

What is the one word you would use to describe your sisters?
Everyone: Passionate.
The Peekaboo is all about family. What was it like to work side by side as sisters for this campaign?
Hayat: Honestly, working on this campaign and also starring in it was beautiful. It is the first time my sisters have been part of a campaign like this – they couldn’t wait to share it with everyone!

As sisters, do you have similar or different styles? Do you inspire each other?
Hayat: Our styles are different, but similar at the same time. But the one thing for sure is that we have different characters!
What is your favorite way to style the Peekaboo?
Noura: I love how versatile it is. I can wear it every day with almost all of my outfits.

What is your message to young, aspiring creatives in the Middle East?
Hayat: There is no harm in trying. Whatever it may be, trying it is your best chance sometimes.
