Jessica Kahawaty’s Latest Look is a Lesson in Joyful Holiday Dressing

Jessica Kahawaty’s Latest Look is a Lesson in Joyful Holiday Dressing

With the festive season fast approaching, Jessica Kahawaty has joined the leading best-dressed names in the region with her latest look. The Lebanese model and entrepreneur recently stepped out for an event hosted by Ralph Lauren in Dubai, fully embracing the holiday theme for the occasion with a special creation from the American brand.
Her strapless dress of choice brought together the fail-safe color pairing most associated with the season: red and black, while the form-hugging silhouette made it seem as if Kahawaty was wrapped like a gift. And since no present is complete without a bow, the highlight of the gown—picked from the Ralph Lauren Holiday 2022 collection—was an oversized red bow at the back. Going into two long floor-sweeping panels, the detail was equal parts joyful and glamorous, which is precisely where Kahawaty finds her sartorial sense.

The founder and CEO of Mama Rita paired the statement dress with minimal accessories including dainty butterfly-shaped earrings and a black and gold handbag embroidered with the fashion house’s initials, RL. Kawahaty also kept her glam pared back with her hair side parted and slicked into a chic low bun, and makeup featuring neutral hues.
Considering this is only the first look sported by Kahawaty this festive season, expect her to offer more holiday dressing inspiration in the weeks to come.

Despite the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases around the globe, Christmas 2021 was a celebration to remember. Families everywhere came together in the safety of their homes for the special occasion, and celebrities too took to Instagram to share snippets of their December 25 highlights. Among the many stars who wished their fans a Merry Christmas on social media was Lebanese pop star Nancy Ajram. The Middle Eastern icon celebrated Christmas with her 31.6 million Instagram fans with a snapshot of herself dressed in a sparkling red jumpsuit by Beirut-based fashion house Jean-Louis Sabaji. Scroll through her festive post to check out the full look.

Nancy Ajram complemented her red jumpsuit with classic hoop earrings
Seen stepping out in Paris, Nancy Ajram proved that a statement-making jumpsuit is much more versatile than most may think. While she wore the fiery look for a wedding in France, her ensemble wouldn’t have looked out of place at a Christmas get-together, and would also make a winning choice for a New Year’s Eve bash. With its plunging neckline and tie-up belt, the Jean-Louis Sabaji outfit was also a figure-flattering piece that one is likely to keep coming back to for formal occasions.
Instead of going all-out with her accessories, Ajram kept her ensemble fuss-free by styling her shimmering jumpsuit with nothing but a pair of classic hoop earrings. The Lebanese singer completed her party-ready look with a voluminous hairdo and perfectly contoured smoky eyes, as well as a creamy nude lip color. The final result was an end-of-year look worth bookmarking.

Kate Middleton Just Repeated This Sparkly Green Dress from 2019

Kate Middleton Just Repeated This Sparkly Green Dress from 2019

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at a special reception hosted by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan at the iconic Pakistan National Monument during their Royal Tour of Pakistan on October 15, 2019 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Kate Middleton just repeated another outfit!
Back in November, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the Royal Variety Performance in London which featured performances from Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, and James Blunt. The annual event supports the Royal Variety Charity, which raises money to help entertainers throughout the U.K. who “need help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.” A recorded version of the event aired Sunday, December 19, on ITV HD.
For the occasion, Middleton wore an emerald green Jenny Packham gown that she originally donned during a tour of Pakistan back in 2019. The striking green glittery column dress with long sleeves is a perfect fit for the holidays, and a staple anyone – even the Duchess of Cambridge – can re-wear for years to come.

The Duchess styled the look with gold drop earrings and made the whole outfit monochrome with a green sequin clutch and green pointed-toe heels. She wore her signature brown hair in a side part and to the side with gorgeous, glamorous curls. For makeup, she kept it simple with some black eyeliner, blush, and a berry lip to match.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attends the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall on November 18, 2021 in London, England. This demonstrates how slight styling adjustments can change up a look. The dress is a memorable piece that is so sparkly it does not require much accessorizing, but with little tweaks in hair and accessories, even a sequin staple like this can look different over the years.
This is just the most recent time Kate Middleton has recycled wardrobe staples. In October, Middleton attended the 2021 Earthshot Prize awards ceremony wearing a fan-favorite from a decade ago: an Alexander McQueen dress she wore to a black-tie BAFTA event in Los Angeles back in 2011. She wore the lilac McQueen gown in July 2011, a few months after her wedding to Prince William. We love to see it.
