As the stylist for It girls, models, and stars including Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid, and Normani, there are few who know better than Mimi Cuttrell what the woman of today covets. Informed by this very experience, Cuttrell has joined forces with By Far to create her own accessories collection.

The stylist’s eye for sourcing and putting together trendy pieces to create head-turning looks meets the cult-favorite luxury label’s approach to design in this collection of nine new silhouettes, including two bag styles. At the core is By Far‘s signature sculptured heel shape, which is offered in various heights and in the form of boots, pumps, sandals, and sling backs. The collection has already found a fan in Grande, who recently took the internet by storm dressed in the 13 Going on 30 custom Versace dress, courtesy of Cuttrell. For her latest appearance as The Voice judge, the pop star was styled in a custom Off-White dress paired with the By Far x Mimi Cuttrell shoes reminiscent of the classic Mary Janes, but made bold with a platform heel. The look, an instant hit with Grande’s 278 million followers, also offered a preview of the soon-to-be-released pieces.

The versatile collection can take one from day to night with its range of textures and colors (think neutrals like black, white, along with bright green and orange). Expect By Far’s staple semi-patent leather and a soft French Nappa leather with a glossy finish, and for added bling, crystal embellishment, plus gold and silver-toned hardware.
The By Far x Mimi Cuttrell collection retails online exclusively through Net-A-Porter and Byfar.com from December 2021.

Aiming to make getting back to work anything but boring, BY FAR FW21 is brimming with statement accessories. The cult favorite brand has introduced a playful new color palette that straddles the line between festive and work-appropriate attire. As post-work catch-ups and soirées return, the line enables you to skip the change and simply slip on a different pair of shoes, a bag, or a piece of jewelry to elevate your outfit.

The range of colors includes something for everyone, with splashes of technicolor like Venus pink, taxi yellow, and bright green, and daring color combinations forming zebra scarves and striped patchwork bags. Also expect a few of the brand’s most-loved pieces like the Mini Rachel, Baby Amber, and Billy reimagined in smooth, velvety nubucks in three fresh colors – brandy, saffron, and turquoise.
A focal point of bags in this collection are oversized logo closures or logo bag chains. The new branding is used as the final detail on BY FAR’s new line of knitted accessories, introduced last season with a range of sustainable scarves and completed with warm hats for FW21. The logo also peeks from the tofu-colored jacquard label on the brand-new line of sneakers.

As for the shoes, think all-white sneakers reminiscent of classic styles of the 70s and 80s, but with a twist of a colored leather “flash” to express each style. The flash is inspired by the graphics and typography of socialist logos, through which the idealistic visions of a bright future were simplified for mass consumption. With the environment in mind, the sole is made in two-tone compostable rubber. As a natural material, it is known to not release harmful substances and microplastics into the soil.

For the heel lovers, BY FAR FW21 features the Trix pumps, its slingback version Alena, and the Fida strap sandals. Warmer days are covered too as the collection offers boots ranging from ankle-length to above-the-knee, and everything in-between, including cowboy, combat, Chelsea, and slouchy styles.

BY FAR is also introducing a special line of leather charms based on the flower paintings of Los Angeles artist Max Jansons. With his permission, the brand’s creative team selected eight painted flowers which were translated into layers of leather, fused and stitched together to create the illusion of layers of paint.
