This week, fashion took over our Instagram feeds via hard-hitting musical performances. It comes as no surprise that Jennifer Lopez, who has been exceptionally busy promoting her latest release, Marry Me, made the list, given the strong sartorial streak she’s been on of late. After topping Best Dressed lists in a series of statement coats, the multi-hyphenate lit up the stage this week while performing in a sparkling, semi-sheer, hyper tasseled silver couture piece by Elie Saab, before making headlines once again by attending the film’s screening with beau Ben Affleck in a mini wedding dress.
The week also saw Adele burn up the stage during the Brit Awards, which she sauntered into dressed to perfection in an ebony custom Armani Privé gown that more than did justice to her musical royalty status. And then there was Dua Lipa, who had her own big fashion moment on February 9. For the debut of her Future Nostalgia Tour at the FTX Arena in Miami, Florida, the New Rules singer opted for a custom Balenciaga look in acid green lace. Because sometimes, more really is more.
In the world of fashion news, Kim Kardashian made it to the forefront once again this week, sharing her brand new cover for Vogue, which celebrates her new life as a single mom. The shoot, which also earned quite the response from Kanye West, shows Kim in her element with her four children—North, Psalm, Saint and Chicago. Another celebrity whose snapshot couldn’t be missed this week was Naomi Campbell. The supermodel lent her face to the latest campaign by Balmain in a coffee brown dress.
